One Million Pageviews!

I missed the actual hour, but Ladies Becoming Maids hit 1 million total pageviews some time yesterday or today. It may not seem like a lot for many blogs, but it's been quite a journey for this little project of mine.

I'd like to thank everyone for their comments and suggestions as well as for their e-mails. This blog would not have been possible without your feedback and contribution. Thanks for all the views in the past three years and here's to next 1 million views! With the recent boost in readership it should take a lot less than the first million.

    1. Thank you so much. Your wonderful blog passed that milestone ages ago so there is certainly something to look up to!

    2. More by luck, my Gabrielle Ray blog still hasn't achieved the one million yet which just goes to prove that "naughty" is popular

  4. It is a most cruel fate for a lady who aspires to less. To know that you are beloved and well-regarded instead of ignored and forgotten. All these intentional displays of prosperity only further to show how spectacularly you have failed. Why do they keeping coming to the site? You filled it with terrible stories where the hero loses everything and yet, they strangely thirst for more! If only they would let you drift off into the bliss of obscurity, slaving away with no recognition whatsoever.

    1. Let's hope Blogspot (aka Google) doesn't read that and decide to make this obscurity fantasy come true. Reminds me I should transfer to wordpress one of these days!

    1. Thanks. Assuming my sales remain at current level, we are only half a millenium away from this event!

  11. No surprise

    No surprise Camille.

Some lovely inspiring stories here that fuel the imagination.

I have to say having read “An interview with Madame Nguyen” I was hooked on the genre and your blog.

The teasing, tantalising then wilful subjugation of Hanna I can read over and over and I do! And the epilogue just sublime.

Well done Camille and thank you.

    Hugs and Kisses

    1. Thanks, Jackie. A disclaimer: As much as I'd loved to take credit for something as awesome as "An interview with Madama Nguyen", the story is by the amazing T.H. Enerdly, who, along with Monica Graz, I consider one of the "founding fathers" of the lady-to-maid genre; my contribution was limited to selecting an illustration and posting it on this blog. By the way, there is another great story coming up very soon from the same author so please watch this space!

Nevertheless, thanks for your praise, it means a lot to me!
