Although I’ve been a fan of transformation
and downgrade fiction for many years, it’s only recently that I’ve gathered the
courage to begin writing myself. Originally I started this blog just to catalogue other peoples’ work and
post captions, but I quickly realised how much I enjoyed exploring similar
topics as a writer.
I enjoy themes of social drop and cultural
change, with stories involving maids, often in historic settings, among my
favourites. Stories I write tend to involve voluntary and not entirely
voluntary relinquishing of status to become servants, cleaners and other people
at the very bottom of the society ladder. Think of my fiction as Cinderella or
Pygmalion in reverse with upper-class women – and, occasionally, men – giving
up their privileged and pampered existence for one of hard work and low esteem.

Enjoy reading biographies in general. Find you interesting. Hard to believe you just recently started writing. Well done. You have a gift when it comes to creating and organizing web sites as well. You've got a rare air of sophistication in what you do. It's refreshing and lacking in current times. Don't mind stories of men sinking but not into TG stories. Any stories you can recommend that fall into that category? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThank you. On non-TG men downgrade fiction the first thing that comes to mind are some of Emma Finn stories. She was unique in her ability to write all kinds of transformations. I do think that quality stories like that are very rare. We had a discussion on this blog recently about why there are no lord to butler stories. It is somehow a lot less interesting...

ReplyDeleteJust finished reading "Scrubbing his record clean" - loved every word of it - I'm a crossdresser with exactly the same interests. I have worked as a cleaning lady in the past but have never had the opportunity to enjoy that role permanently, though I still hold out hope! Thank you.
